“Boxing has given me so many opportunities and has made me the man I am today. My dream was to be a sports promoter and develop my own sports content platform, and with the formation of Ringstar Management, this is now a reality.”
From his humble beginnings, born in a mining town in Nottingham England, Scott grew up in a difficult neighbourhood that included bullying and crime as a daily occurrence to try and avoid being a victim of. After leaving school, he took the first job he could, and became a labourer for a window company.
With a positive attitude to life and through hard work, tenacity and the will to succeed, Scott became a managing director of a multimillion dollar data and information management company from the USA at age 28. Now, with 20 years of experience in combat sports and business, Scott Farrell has set a solid foundation for his company Ringstar Management.
Scott himself has fought in over 30 boxing matches with 24 wins, including multiple Fight of the Night awards to his name. With his extensive inside-knowledge of how the business works, he plans to develop the world’s next batch of star boxers. Currently among Ringstar Management’s growing list of prolific boxers is Muhamad "The Chosen Wan" Ridhwan, who under Scott's guidance, made history by becoming Singapore's first professional World Boxing Champion. Packing a punch both in and out of the ring, Scott remains steadfast with his vision and mission – “This edition of the Roar Of Singapore is extra special – for the first time, we will be broadcasting live with our media partner FIGHT SPORTS, and will reach a potential 150 million households across Asia, Europe and America. This is a huge milestone for Ringstar, and it further affirms our position as a leading sports media property in Asia.”
